Learning Outcomes: At the end of this workshop, delegates will be able to:

Evaluate their strengths and development needs and also clarify biases in their working practices.

Gain an insight into potential strengths and blindspots in problem-solving, encouraging individuals and groups to improve the depth and breadth of their analyses.
Deal with conflict in relationships by focuses on valuing differences between people and improving understanding and co-operation.
Offer delegates a straight forward and affirmative way to help understand themselves and others.

Understand how people’s apparently random behaviour is actually quite consistent because it follows how they prefer to be.

Offer individuals a way to improve communication patterns that will meet their needs as well as the needs of others.

Indicative Content:

 

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) will be utilised during this workshop.  The MBTI questionnaire is the most widely used personality questionnaire worldwide.  More than 3.5m questionnaires are completed worldwide every year.  It is based on over 50 years research and development and is available in 19 languages.

 

The Content will include:

 

  • Delegates completing a self-assessment of their particular style and preferences.
  • Comprehensive discussions regarding different styles and preferences.
  • Activities, exercises and Case studies to ‘bring alive’ the MBTI and to demonstrate the value of understanding people more thoroughly.
  • How to use what has been learned in real practical ways.
  • How to use what has been learned in order to build effective working and personal relationships.
  • Learn how to persuade and influence more effectively.
  • Understand why personal frustrations exist and learn how to deal with them more effectively.
  • Have a personal development plan to develop weaknesses.
