Learning Outcomes: At the end of this workshop, delegates will be able to:

Gain an insight into potential leadership strengths and blindspots and clarify preferred managerial methods.
Manage difficult staff more effectively.
Learn how to value the differences in others.

Understand how people’s apparently random behaviour is actually quite consistent because it follows how they prefer to be.

Offer individuals a way to improve communication patterns that will meet their needs as well as the needs of others.

Indicative Content:

The The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) will be utilised during this workshop.  The MBTI questionnaire is the most widely used personality questionnaire worldwide.  More than 3.5m questionnaires are completed worldwide every year.  It is based on over 50 years research and development and is available in 19 languages.

The Content will include:

  • A detailed understanding of each delegates preferred way of Leading & Managing.
  • The dangers of applying our preferred styles to everyone
  • Activities, exercises and Case studies to ‘bring alive’ the MBTI and to demonstrate the value of understanding people more thoroughly.
  • How to communicate in order to motivate and get people on side.
  • How to resolve problems and ensure total commitment to the outcome.
  • Learn how to persuade and influence more effectively.
  • Understand why personal frustrations exist and learn how to deal with them more effectively.
  • Know what to do to develop our non-preferred ways of operating
