Working with a Major High Street retailer, a business
vision was developed covering Finance, Customers, Internal Processes and Learning and Growth.
If you don't know where you want to be, how do you know if you are on the right track to get there??
Most businesses and departments have some idea about what they are ultimately trying to achieve. However, arriving at a
vision for the future that everyone can fully understand and
support can sometimes prove to be somewhat tricky.
Measured objectives to satisfy the various strategies were
established and numerous initiatives commenced. These
strategies included the type of relationships the organisation
ultimately wanted to achieve with its Customers, Suppliers,
Competitors and Employees.
Five key values primarily governing the behaviours the
organisation would expect from those working within it were also developed and closely monitored.
Recent Projects - 'Review & Reflect'
The Management Team of a Logistics & Distribution home delivery operation needed time together to reflect on the way they were doing things.
The objective for the day was:
- to reflect and consider the achievements over the last year
- to debate how jobs could be made easier
- to have some fun
Through skilful facilitation, at the end of the workshop everyone had
- had fun
- learnt a lot
- been challenged
- agreed to change something
- identified some things that were really valued
- improved the feelgood factor
- had action plans in place
